Rider Requirements.

Here's what you will need to get your Triumph out on the road.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Drivers license (any nationality) valid for the class (capacity) of motorcycle.
- Photograph identification.
- Valid credit card.
- Some experience riding large capacity motorcycles.
- Motorcycle helmets are compulsory in New Zealand. Helmets are provided with your rental, however you can use your own helmet if you prefer. To comply with New Zealand standards, your helmet must be Snell Approved, or meet the British Standard (BS). We can advise you on this when you pick up your Triumph.

Insurance Cover.
Your Triumph Rental includes comprehensive insurance. This insurance covers motorcycle damage/collision, fire, theft and third party liability. Medical cover for the rider and passenger is not included, however in New Zealand it is not necessary to separately insure against medical emergencies, as all travelers are covered for emergency medical treatment by the New Zealand Government funded Accident Compensation Corporation. We recommend that you take out personal travel insurance when you book your travel to New Zealand, to cover any unforeseen events such as cancellations, delays or acts of god that may interrupt your travel plans.

Security / Damage Deposit.
The insurance excess / deductible on you Triumph Rental is NZ$2000.00. This amount must be paid as a security deposit when the rental commences. This security deposit will be refunded at the end of the rental period, when the motorcycle is returned undamaged.

RAT Discount.
Financial members of RAT (Riders Association of Triumph) will receive a 10% discount on the daily rental rate. (This discount only applies to the daily rental rate, and does not apply to clothing hire, one-way rental charges, or any other additional accommodation, tours and services that may be part of the hire agreement.)

Booking Procedure.
We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly during the high season. Our online booking form will provide you with the most accurate and fastest rental availability information. However, if you prefer to email or fax your enquiry, it will be answered immediately. A deposit equal to 25% of your daily rental will be required to secure your Triumph booking, which can be paid with a credit card number.

Payment Procedure.
Payment for the complete rental, including the security deposit, will be required before the hire commences. Payment can be by credit card or cash.

Cancellations & Refunds.
Confirmed bookings canceled up to 14 days before the rental date will receive a full refund of the deposit. Confirmed bookings canceled within 14 days of the rental date will not receive a deposit refund, however the deposit can be applied to a future rental.
