About Riding :

Kia Ora my name is Lee-Ann, I am 44 years old, married with a teenage daughter and manage a local video shop... Why do I like riding bikes..? Well I guess the most obvious answer to this question for me is that it's fun and gives me a sense of freedom. Having recently purchased a Harley Davidson Rocker C It's given me an option instead of riding pillion to ride myself which is a great feeling. I have also joined the local HOG Chapter and am the Ladies of Harley officer which has put me in touch with some amazing ladies all of who are confident, able riders. We have always had a bike of some sort in the garage, from 125cc through to 1550cc and have loved them all but my Rocker is by far my favourite one. My husband is the owner of a Fatboy and we are always out and about on them, it's great to ride alongside him. I'm looking forward to riding down to Christchurch in February 2010 for the HOG rally so am trying to get 'Bum Hardened' for the long haul. I would really encourage those ladies who are thinking (or have thought) about riding to give it a go, you won't be disappointed.. Aroha Nui Lee-Ann
